Farewell Talk

Today, we were all early for sacrament meeting because it's the day that Gabe will be giving his farewell talk.  He leaves for his mission in two and half weeks.  There were a lot of friends and family in attendance including some of his co-workers.  Gabe gave such a heartfelt talk about "Inviting Others to Come Unto Christ" by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. We were so proud of him and his willingness to serve the Lord.  My wife, Lea, and daughter, Alyssa, performed a musical number.  They sang "Learn of Me" by Janice Kapp Perry.  We were very humbled and grateful for the show of love and support for Gabe and our family.
